I have a Sony DSC-P52. After I dropped it from about 50cm it started showing the E:61:10 error and both the focus and zoom do not work. When I try to use the zoom, the lens does not move but I can hear a motor moving inside. I tried the smacking method many times and in various ways but with no luck. Though I haven't taken it to Sony service yet I understand that this will be costy. So I am tempted to open it and try to fix it myself. Has anyone done this before with this model? Any advice?
