Error message E04

I have a GR-DVF10U that I hadnt used for about a year until last night. Well I wanted to view some dv tapes and after charging the battery fully, it only allowed me ten minutes or maybe less to view. Then I got an error message of E04 and I can't even view at all. It just blinks E04 when I press play. Please advise. Thanks!
