JVC TV dead. Not turning on. Power source checked; no problem.

Read with interest the common problem and the simple solution of replacing capacitor. Will try it. The JVC tv will not turn on as of two days ago. No other sypmtoms of any problems prior to this one. Hope your solution saves me a bundle as well. Installed small substitute tv in its place and it works fine. The directv program and remote work ok.
