Can anyone help with suggestions?

For some unknown reason after taking my Panasonic SA-HT7 out of storage while moving home recently it now only plays DVD's in Black and White. Is this a simple repairable problem? If anyone knows solution as the trouble shooting guide in the user manual does not mention picture quality. All other functions are OK and have not yet spoken to a local Panasonic dealer.
