VTR HARDSTOP ERROR MSG

The camera will record but the warning signal is flashing with no error message. I can turn the camera off and back on to record. The video i shot came out unstsble in somplaces and on one instance I received a error message VTR Hard Stop. I have had this in the past but it has never affected the footage as it has this time. Suggestions
