Thanks for the inquiry. I'm only interested in the threaded piece that attaches the camcorder to a tripod but it's been impossible to find it and I'll consider buying the camcorder. A second dock would come in handy and I could probably recoup the money selling parts on Ebay. However, I'll have to have a couple of photos and/or a description of what went wrong and what seems to be intact to determine what I'll offer. Refurbished ones go for $215.00 on Ebay and a dead shell might be worth $50.00 if the dock and battery are intact and there is little wear and no cosmetic damage to the body parts. If that's my only option to get the piece I'll do a little research and make you a fair offer. I'll pay $15.00 for the piece itself and I can email you a photo if you are interested. It looks fairly simple to remove and it will slip into an envelope for easy mailing. Bob Walker
