I have a Sony Trinitron (6 yrs old) and the main board packed it in . Repair buy was over and told me it would cost $450.00 for repair and in his mind it was not worth it. So much for sony. Yet I have another sony tv bought some 20 yrs ago and it is still working great so go figure.
