Irrespective of the alternating voltages that you found on IC901, considering that your chassis suffers from the well known C926 problem with the possibility the LA7832 vertical scan IC being defective as well, have you actually verified that these things do not apply? as the timer light symptom on that range of chassis nearly always shows due to the aforementioned being defective. The only reason I mention it is because you haven't excluded that reason.
