Hi!!

I never reply to these messages because I never know if they are legit or not. My camera is a DSC - P32. My camera recently displayed the same error message. With the power off and on, I tried several times hitting the camera (the top part where the power button is) on my knee, then the desk a few times. It did not work. Finally, I turned the camera off, and gave it two strong whacks at the same place against a hard wooden table. And it works!!!!! So, there you go, I hope it works for you too!
