Re[2]: JVC - Condensation Any Model

Wayne Posted Mar 20, 2007, in response to:jack

Hi Jack Your explanation is valid, hover this did not occur with my video camera (and Im sure many others) I was editing off the camera in my office, on completion everything was turned off and later that same day when it was turned on the camera displayed the message. The camera was not moved from differant tempreture zones, nor was there any fluctuation in tempreture. In addition I had also had the camera left on for many hours with no tape to no avail. I placed the camera on a sunny windowsill, powered up with no tape in it. and still the message did not clear. Try explain that?

Dew sensor cleaning advice sent via DIRECT e-mail, as although condensation can occur under certain conditions JVC camcorders in a particular range group are known to have over active sensors that can trigger without actually being in any moisture creating conditions. (an over critical design)
