    My Canon digital camera was not working, no display was coming
    They said that CCD (Optical unit) need to be replaced and did that and gave 60 days warranty saying if problem persist they do free service. I had spent Rs. 3000/- for this.

    With in 15 days I faced same problem and informed about same. When I went to their service station they didnt oblidge properly and said what ever they have changed is working fine and asked us to go to

'Appointed as Minolta Authorised Service Centre' on 14th May'. - Deen Dayal Adams and Praveen Adams attended the Service meeting and Technical training workshop from April 4th to 30th invited by T. We provided our customers with phenomena spare parts on the spot and helped them get their cameras back into working condition. 2001 - During the month of April we participated in the Service Managers' Seminar for All India Authorized Service Facilities conducted by 'Canon Singapore Pte. Ltd.' at Singapore. 2003 - Two members from Deendayal Camera & Co. attended the the Service Managers' Seminar for All India Authorized Service Facilities at 'Canon Singapore Pte. Ltd.' in the month of March, where the theme for the seminar was 'Digital Camera Technology'. In this connection Simon Segayaraj underwent special training in computerized repairing procedures for Digital Cameras. 2004 - Two of our technicians were invited by Konica-Minolta at Singapore for a special On-hand Training Programme for Digital Cameras. 2005 - Canon India Priviate Limited (CIPL) conducted for the first time a one-day seminar at Gurgaon, near Delhi, for the representatives of Authorised Service Centres in India. Main focus at this seminar was on Canon range of Digital cameras. Also Deendayal Camera & Co. pariticipated in this meting. 2006 - Canon India Priviate Limited (CIPL) conducted a special meeting at Gurgaon for all Authorised Service Centres (ASF) in India at Gurgaon. Soon afterwards, Messers Shimogowa of Canon Japan, Marcius Lew of Singapore visited Deendayal Camera & Co. at Bangalore along with a team from CIPL. 2007 - Representatives from Fujifilm visited Deendayal Camera & co., Bangalore. Successful negotiations for supply of spare parts for all models of Fuji digital cameras.

      mine is canon A410 digital camera with 3.2MP and 3x opyical zoom.. imported from canada..using from past 1.5years..till last month it was working fine, as i was working on it, when i switched the power button ON, the lens came out and got struck,i was getting the blank screen on the LCD screen with an error ""E18"".. but i could see the previous stored pictures in the memory card..but it does not stand for a long time.. after some time it was showing ""MEMORY CARD ERROR"" .. i am dam sure that the camera doesnt fall on the surface or fall in water.. i dont koow than why i happening sooo... i searched for the better canon service center in bangalore, than i got to know that two service centers in bangalore 1 in indranagar DEENE DAYAL and other in malleswaram.. i went there and gave for servicing.. they told that they will call me back once it get serviced....and i waited for a week but no call from them.i called them they told that they had sent it to main service center in bombay.. and said that they will call them abt the camera and inform us back. and we waited for next 4 days still we didnt get any reply from then.. we went to directly to service center ,, they told that lens have gone and its cost 3000rs to replace for new one.. my camera cost is only 5430RS.. that idiots demanding for 3000rs... after few day they told that they are not getting thattype of model lens.. and returned to us back..... please help me that can i get any best cervice center in india.. or atleast can i get new lens for my camera... also i think both the service center in bangalore or fraud once.. i gone to internet most of them are posting for same error ""E18"" problems in canon.. so humble request for allof you.. is not be a canon camera as a optional one...

    I had bad experience with DEENDAYAL CAMERA. I went there to service my canon A85 digital camera for CCD problem, but I was told that they will look into the issue and call me back. Next day I got call from there and started saying my camera had shutter problem along with CCD issue. To repair the same they will correct the shutter problem and then send it canon service center in north india to replace the CCD. I asked them to send without doing anything and claiming that whatever issue if you are planning to send, let them do all the work. They denied it and asked 1700/- for the shutter problem. After I enquired from few of my friends that Deenayal is doing the same for all. That too for the same CCD issue. So I asked them to return the camera and gave it directly to Canon care center in malleswaram. Canon care center took it and told it takes 15 days to 30 days. After 25 days I got the call from Canon care center that my camera is ready and got the working camera with paying single rupee. Hope this will help you while dealing with service companies as Deendayal.

      Very true ramesh.. same happened to me with s1 is , shutter problem and ccd.. deendayal was demanding 1800 bucks. Canon Care is ready to do it for free and takes 1 month. (time is same fr deendayal also) Thanks for the info. u saved me some money :) Nagaraju
