Hi, Firstly have you tried to re-set the deck? Do this first because sometimes the system control gets corrupted. Secondly, I would not try and fix this problem yourself because it is quite involved. A repair centre might replace the chip, but probably replace the board which will cost quite a bit. The chip is £56.00 GBP. The complete board is £320 GBP.
