Home | Previous messageI have a 32"Sony wega trinitron bought in 1999. After 4 years it would not turn on right away. The red standby light would blink 4 times and keep on blinking. I had to hit the power button on and off for about 1 minute to 30 minutes for the last 3 years. That was crazy. So I just left the tv on 24/7 and switched it to a different video input. That was my "tv off position" for the last 3 years. $1000 bucks for a tv that doesn't last more than 4 years? All of my sitters and friends always turn off my tv with the power button by accident. 4/4/07 it finally doesn't want to turn on. Take it to the shop? Fill me in on some info. Thanks

My tv is doing the same thing now and im trying to figureout what the problem is I am currently having the same exact problem...and, funny enough, have since come up with the same solution - rapid turning on and off. eventually the picture does come on, but it can't be long until it doesn't come on at all. haven't decided on course of action, will repost if something comes up. |
