Posted Apr 07, 2007, in response to:terence j.Hi there I read your note on website over EL1 appearing on your video Mine has done the same You can try two things one VERY carefully just put your hand in and slightly prise the tape inside up off the cogs that turn the tape forward or after I waited several days panasonics advice press EXT LINK button on keypad/remote however i pressed every button on remote when in EL1 mode and nothing happened that time-so I resorted to putting a gentle hand in to lift the tape up and it activated removing EL1 off the clock display cheers Terry

My Mum phoned me this morning asking if I could help her sort out her Panasonic video recorder. After a discussion it appeared she had Error EL1 and the vidoe was doing nothing. I did a search on Google and found this thread. Quick hand into the video and a little wiggle and out popped the video. Problem solved. FANTASTIC. |
