my JVC DVL 300 doesn't load any tape

I have a JVC DVL 300 video camera. And suddenly, I can't load any tape. When I try it, the compartment doesn't shut and eject the tape. I tried with recorded and blank casettes. If there's no tape, the compartment door works fine. I'll appreciate any help or suggestions. Many thanks and best regards!
