Homepower getting to the unit but it won't switch on Wired unit up in the car but it won't switch on, I can load a cd in and eject it but the screen lights up for a couple of seconds and then goes off again, it won't let me play the inserted cd, the only button that seems to be working is the eject button.

Did you mange to get to the bottom of this? My AVX33 is doing exactly the same thing. Cheers. Try making sure that you dont have the accesory and battery wires mixed up. The battery will only allow certain current to flow through, thus making only "off-line" buttons work. Double check that. Also, if you have a detacheable face then take it off and clean the connections. Lastly make sure your power button is intact and that it's receptor is not shot. |
