JVC grsxm250u problems

recently my camcorder has stopped recording or viewing the visual aspect of video. I can't see anything through the viewfinder, the LCD Screen, and it says to remove the camera lens which is not on it. When I hit the record button it only tapes the audio portion of the subject I am trying to view and record. Is there a reasonable solution to this problem. Please advise.
