The Most unreliable camera I have ever owned

Sorry to bother you but would someone/Eric be able to send me the details as like everyone else? I am having the white screen problem as well, I read that if I press my knuckle around by the cybershot sign at the front of the camera it will work, but it has not worked for me. I continually turn the camera on and off and still a white screen. It went in for repair last year and after a couple of weeks the same error occurred. Any time I want to use this camera there always seems to be a problem. I also get errors where the camera switches off and you have to open and then close the battery compartment and switch on again. I am ready to throw this camera out the window as the problems seem to be one thing after another. Any helpful hints would be much appreciated.
