Re[3]: Camera and Camcorder Replacement Parts

Since it was still within the warranty period, i had sent it to the Sony authorized repair shop (Precision Camera). Unfortunately, they classified it as "impact damage," even though I had never dropped it or had anything hit it. So, they did not cover it under the warranty. It ended up costing me around $175 to get it fixed, which is why I had originally placed a post on here as to how much replacement parts would cost. When I read the final service repair tag, I was glad I spent the money, because of all the collateral damage it suffered due to the LCD leaking.
