what happens if it starts good and copies and once it stays idle it goes back to the same code.

You are a genius! I've never seen this particular reset proceedure, but I'm not a Savin tech either. Thanks for posting this info!!

-Press and hold the yellow Clear Mode button down and enter 107 on the keypad. -Releast the Yellow clear Mode button and hold the orange Clear / Stop button down for 5 seconds (the screen will change to a menu). -Shut off main power switch for 7 seconds. -Turn back on and it should be good to go.
