Nutone Intercom System IM-4406

Nutone Intercom System IM-4406 . . . the cd player does not work. The unit is about 6 to 7 years old and the CD player has not been working for the past 2 years. It will not even spin around. The trouble shooting section of the manual does not even touch on this subject. Any suggestions appreciated
