all the pictures are deleted and not able to click any new picture

hi,i have camera DSC-W70,recently i have been facing a problem,all my pictures got deleted by its own,and i am not able to click any new picture. On clicking a new picture it says Formatting Error, kindly me help me out in order to make my camera functional
