HomeHow to take apart a Sony DSC-V3 I have a Sony DSC-V3 that has a stuck shutter button, long story, but can anyone tell me how to dismantle the thing ? I have tried unsuccessfully to take it apart to remove and try and fix the shutter mechanism, are there directions anywhere available ? Thanks. Mark.

The shutter button actually lifts straight up and out of the socket. Try two small pins or needles to carefully grab the opposing sides of the round button and lift up. You will either free the button or simply remove it. If so, its easy to pop back in. |
