Error messae...how to fix

I have a sony dcr-trv22 camcorder and am receiving a c:31:30 message and have a tape stuck in my camera...only suggestion i have seen is to hit it with a sharp blow on the bottom..have tried it and nothing happens...also has a high wirring noise like it is rewinding
