don't worry bout sending me the pics, because i found the link above for the pdf document. I did the fix and it worked! thanks It seems logical to assume from this that all of the temorary fixes above are all related to the same little plastic tabs inside the case(that you have to cut off). the tabs are situated directly opposite the point where people have been pressing (just underneath and to the right of the LCD screen). It would be pretty logical to assume that by pressing there you are simultaneously pushing the front cover of the case off the electronics inside - releasing the pressure on the contacts that are causing the problem. Tapping the front of the case probably works as well because it jitters the electronics inside for a bit, temporarily releasing the same pressure. What do you learn from this? Both temp solutions will probably work, but the best solution by far is to open up the case and do the fix as stated in the pdf file!
