sony pfm 500

Hi Stacy I read your code assistance as I have a SONY pfm 500m 1we I have the 12/22 code all the time and it resets and then the other leds on the front come on I can't find evidence of any damage to the ribbon cables/epoxy on the left or right of the screen Am I clutching at straws here? I am amazed that people would have paid bulk money for maybe 5 years of use and not gone ape Please reply Thanks for your assistance Derek
