JVC AV 32980 32

David Oglevie Posted Nov 04, 2007

THANK YOU! One simple capacitor put my TV back on line, and even I, a klutz, was able to do it in less than an hour.

Thank you for hosting/posting the simple fix for the 32" JVC TV. My TV suddenly just wouldn't turn on. The repair instructions were easy to figure out. To help others replace the failed C926 capacitor, the Radio Shack capacitor part number is 272-1032. DO NOT purchase the 272-1019 as it won't fit. If you have one of these failed TV's try this fix. It takes a little patience, a magnifying glass, a trip to Radio Shack, and a small solder iron. Thanks again! David Oglevie Chelan, WA
