Power led flashes when I click the power button, but camera immediatly shuts down.

Hello, I keep my S60 inside a proper bag, and most of the times I leave the batteries inside. Last time I checked, the camera was working normally, but I took the batteries out and put the camera back in the bag. This was about a month ago. Now, I grabbed the camera to take a picture and it just won't start! Tried different kinds of batteries (some of them rechargeable), the power light flashes, sometimes I can see the Cybershot logo on the LCD screen, but it shuts down immediatly. I am sure the camera was safely stored, and no one moved it... I'd appreciate any ideas. Thank you.
