Sony FD Trinitron KV-40XBR800

This TV is not that old, less than 5 years. There is no picture at all and the standby button blinks. I have emailed Sony and am waiting a reply. I will never buy another Sony anything if I have to put one red cent into this TV. I will trash it and go with a more reliable company.
