Where do i fit the small receiver in the jvc 42" tv model vm-42v31bue.

I have purchased the receiver and universal remote. The receiver is a small metal thing and I do not know where this fits into. Is there anybody out there who knows and if so could you please let me know. MUCH APPRECIATED.
