Re: Sony Trinitron TVs

Julie Posted Jan 04, 2008, in response to:anonymous

I have the same problem with the screen blinking on and off continually on my KV32S36 which I have had for about 10 years - paid a lot of money for what was supposed to be the best tv at the time - contacted Sony via live chat and was just told it "seems to be an internal malfunction" and that I would have to get it repaired- well repairing a tv costs more today than just buying one - I will not be buying another Sony. I have a G.E. television which I would expect not to last very long which is now 12 years old and still works beautifully - and the G.E. didn't even cost half as much as the Trinitron. Go figure. I wish it was just an easy fix, though as I really can't afford to buy another television, but when I do, it won't be a Sony.
