creative divi cam428-- can you recommend me this cam?

hi friends! i'm interested in buying a creative divi cam 428 but i'm not really sure of its qulity, reliability and niceness as i never used it before. moreover, the brand creative is new to me --(1) can someon recommend me this cam --(2) is there any equivalent(functionality wise) of this cam offered by some authentic brands like canon,sony etc. -- thanks a million (in advance)--
