Re: Sony Trinitron TVs

paul nikol Posted Jan 07, 2008, in response to:anonymous

Our trinitron was in the kitchen and used for viewing while cooking...now that the football playoffs and the basketball season is upon us we were used to this over the years. It just suddenly quit..you can hear it go on, but a timer/by pass light stays on and keeps blinking but the picture does not go on??????anyone else have this problem??????

yea 2 adjustments inside the tv, the one your looking for is on the circuit board mounted on the tube. bottom rightish corner lil black phillips it adjusts the color but if its to far out it will shutdown the screen (protection feature) should be able to turn it and get it to come back on, just make sure the color looks fine after your done, if that doesnt fix it might require some soldering. scribble912@yahoo.com
