Re[2]: Sony STR SE501 receiver problem

Hi there,

Thank you for these repair instructions. My receiver has been broke for about 2 yrs now. I brought it to a stereo repair shop and they could not duplicate the problem so I passed on having them try to fix it. Sony wanted $112 to fix it if I boxed it and sent it to them. I printed your instructions and my BF followed them and with his soder kit was able to make the repair in under 20 mins. We had some problems putting the bos back together but we are all set and the receiver has been working fine ever since. Thank you so much for your help and saving me the cost of buying a new receiver.
