I have the same tv and the same exact problem. First happened about a year ago, but it would stay on after a few attempts. Now when I unplug and plug back in it'll stay on for about 20 seconds, screen goes red and then switches off. The power light stays on but the remote or the buttons on the set do nothing. If anyone has any suggestions they'd be appreciated. JVC service line was useless
