Hi Mark, sorry I don't know where to get the video head. Sounds like you took your cam apart....and you know what you are doing...We have had our DCR TRV510 for almost 9 years now and has always worked great. The other day, the zoom wants to go full all the time.....something is telling the zoom lens to go all the way.....the mechanisms are so complex in the cassette holder....I am wondering if there is an easy way to fix this...I can only imagine it is more cost efficient to just buy a new camera...what are your thoughts?
