no lcd display; cd drawers do not operate

model: JVC HXD77 stereo system Problems: (a) no lcd display; (b) cd drawers do not open ------------------------------------- hi: just received this system..well used..amplifer; tuner and speakers work fine..i have two issues as above. Opened case and found a piece of black plastic loose: looks like it might be part of a transport system..ie..about 3" long, very narrow with grooves on side. hopefully i can restore this great sounding system :) thank for any advise!!
