With absolutely no power, the only way the tape can be removed is by applying power to the loading / unloading motor from a small 3 volt battery, however this requires caution and involves partially dismantling the cassette cover or even the side casing, so its not really recommended that someone try this unless they are familiar at working on small pieces of electronic equipment. There is no other way the tape can be removed without damaging the mechanism.
