Re[2]: Camera and Camcorder Replacement Parts

I saw your post that you are looking for replacement head for your GL1.
My GL1 is 8 years old but I like it. But I've had more problems with what I think is dirty heads, pixelized images. If I use a head cleaner its OK and I generally don't have the problems with new tapes. I was guessing that the heads are wearing down. Was that your symptom? Is it economically practical to replace the heads?
