Toshiba 50H71 convergence chip (how to)

I have a Toshiba 50h71 and I want to know if you know how to change the red convergence chip on it. I was told this was the reason why the red convergence wont move vertically, and it also shows red bowing in on the top and bottom. It looks like I am watching a 3D movie.

  I am having the same problem in that I cannot move the red vertically. My set is only 4 years old and was told by the store sales person that IC TV's are lasting 4 - 7 years. My only option at this time is to bring in a repair person to tell me what the repair bill will be
