Well it happened to us last week... My Trinitron KV-35V65 "popped" when my wife went to turn it on, and that was it. NO sound no picture. Just one flashing led that has no pattern other than 17865 times in a row(with a bar over it). This tv has been great for 10 straight years through 6 moves, two marriages and a helluva few good partys and kept on lookin' and soundin' good! I hope I go out in the same way this sony did!!! I'd be mad if mine went on the fritz in 3 or 4 years, but ten???? I think it's work is done....
