Part Number

I need a part number for a Magnavox MSD520FE 20 " TV/DVD. The man at the electronics store says the part used was generic. He says the correct no. is on the circuit board and starts with R. There is no R on this board. It is for the power on and off. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it. The no. I have is L0415 817C Y Thanks
