HomeDropped camera softly yesterday This old camera has been a work horse. Dropped camera softly yesterday. Was in case, didn't hit hard. Today an E:61:10 error code appears. I read the "give it a wack" statement. So I gave it 2 very firm wacks on left bottom case area. Turned the camera back on and error code is gone. Thanks guys. Got a problem with a Sony, just give it wack.

This is true. We received this camera from the Mother-in-law and thought it was garbage. The picture was black and the code E:61:10 kept blinking on the screen. I read THIS email about tapping the bottom left corner of the camera. So I thought I would give it a try. Upon doing so, it made some noises and much to my surprise the picture re-appeared. Thank you for saving us from buying a new camera. |
