Lightning strike... no power

We had a lightning striuke a few doors down that appears to have fried our TV. It is a JVC AV-31BP5. When I hit the power button I hear a click type of noice as if it were turning on, then nothing. No power light, no picture, no sound. It won't do anything. Is there anything simple or inexpensive I should look for or should I just trash it and get a new one? Thanks for any help. -Hawkes
