Well if you are meaning that everything works OK as far as playing back recorded material from a "previous" occasion is concerned, (not taken just immediately before you found the present problem) but you cannot see anything in the viewfinder of what the camcorder is presently pointing at, then the camcorder will require partial dismantling for detailed investigation, as unfortunately nothing external can be done about this problem. Sorry I cant give better news, but thats the true facts of the situation. (a "very" long shot, but try taking the battery out for a few minutes before reinserting it)
