What's up with my Beautiful TV?

Hey guys, I wondered if anyone can help me with this. I have a JVC HD-56FC97 ILA and it's doing something odd.... After a couple of hours of use, the picture suddenly fades down and black vertical lines start to appear all over the screen. If I shut it off for a while its fine for another hour or so. I know a lamp pops when it goes out but, what is this?
