HomeStuck tape opener in camera.. I opened my JVC grd-90 to switch a tape and now the tape deck (holder of the tape) is stuck so that it won't send back into the camera so I can close the handle/access to tape part. Does anyone know what usually messes with the motor/door closers in video cameras? Please help..

Re: JVC Camera- Tape deck is stuck open, motor won't send tape back into cameraJB38 Posted Nov 09, 2008(1) Are you sure that the battery is not discharged? as a run down battery can have enough power open the holder but fail when you try to load a cassette. (2) Is the LCD display still illuminated, or is everything dead? (3) If the LCD is still illuminated are there any error codes showing? |
