I had the same problem first time yesterday.

Have been using the same 2G memory stick for almost a year. Fortunatelly it is not a permanent failure. These times the green light stays lit, but no other sign of life from the camera. I can't turn it off and turn on. But wait for a short time and it goes back to normal operation. Will it get worse?
