IM 3003 Master unit with feedback.

We recently "zapped" our Nutone with static electricity. It still works, but now any answer from a remote unit is accompanied with annoying feedback. It stops when you press "End Call", but that does not work from the door speaker. Is there a simple answer for this or a circuit diagram to trouble-shoot?
