Picture has gone trapezoidal and appears to be wider than the screen.

Our JVC av32wf35 has the picture such that it appears wider than the screen with a trapezoid character to it such that it is even wider at the bottom of the screen. On a computer monitor there would be an adjustment to correct this, but there is no available user adjustment for this TV. Can this be fixed?
